Frequently Asked Questions
What is the process?
• STEP 1: Initial information: We begin by collecting initial information for your resume, whether it’s from an existing resume or by filling out the questionnaire. Additionally, we collect 1-2 job links to the positions you are seeking to tailor your resume to as I build “role-specific” resumes vs generic “one-size fits all” resumes. Therefore, it’s important to zero-in on the positions you are seeking prior to onboarding.
• STEP 2: Receiving a Developing Questions (DQ’s) Document: After reviewing all initial information you will receive a “Developing Questions” document (within 2-business days) for you to return. Please be aware that you must be at least 60-70% qualified for the job links you provide, as I incorporate questions for you to answer that pertain to the job requirements. This DQ’s document will allow me to get additional information and/or insight needed to build your new resume. Please note this is the “homework” aspect of your collaboration within the services. This step is KEY in building an effective resume. Therefore, ensure you are ready to put in the effort.
• STEP 3: Returning the Developing Questions: To ensure you receive your resume back within 5-business days, I ask that you return the DQ’s document within 2-business days. Please note that if you return your DQ’s document late, I cannot guarantee your resume back within 5-business days as this will impede with other client deadlines, and you will be subjected to a longer waiting period.
• STEP 4: Receiving Your 1st Review: You will receive your resume via email in a Word document as a 1st review! Meaning there might be areas that I highlighted in yellow for you to verify, look over, and/or confirm. Together, we will review your resume up to 3 x’s before sending a finalized resume, which I will track via email. Once finalized you will also receive your resume in a PDF version. This step also requires your collaboration.
Turnaround Expectations?
Turnaround depends on how quickly we can get to Step-3 in the process. Most clients take the 2-business days to return the Developing Questions, so all together the process can take up to 1.5 weeks if done within the timeframes listed above. Additionally, it’s not a guarantee that your resume will be finalized after the 1st review as you are entitled to 3-reviews, prior to finalizing your resume.
Prior to Onboarding…
Please be aware that I do require payment prior to Step 1, as this enables me to prioritize clients with timelines and official start dates.
Payment Information?
Please be aware, I do collect payment prior to starting, but will ensure to answer all your questions as needed. Payment can only be processed via website, but I have enabled Apple Pay to achieve a more user-friendly check-out experience.
Who falls under the “Senior-Level” Rate?
Clients who have management or senior level experience and beyond. Entry level and mid-level candidates are those who are in their earlier stages of their careers with little to no management.
